“Bustier Beaded Beads” are quick, easy, and satisfying to make. Because they sew up quickly, you can make several in one sitting. They are a great way to showcase your favorite round beads with seed bead weaving. The sizes of the beads have enough variation to be interesting but not so much as to overwhelm you with too many choices. The hole running through the beaded bead is large enough to accommodate a cord or narrow chain. Using the combination of techniques learned, you could make several “Bustier Beaded Beads” and use them as components to design a more elaborate necklace or bracelet. Most students will be able to complete a beaded bead and both parts of the toggle clasp in class.
