Box Stitch Box
by Gwen Fisher I made this skeleton of a cube out of a 3-dimensional version of right angle weave that I like to call "box stitch." Measuring just 17 mm on an edge, this flawless beaded box contains nearly 500 precisely placed seed beads. The square holes are 12 mm in diameter and run all the way through the box. This tactile cube has a remarkable springiness about it, and as such, it is one of the most satisfying beaded beads I've ever made. |
