Box Stitch

I was fiddling around with box stitch (3D RAW), and I made these two pieces. In the image above, the piece on the left is a side view of the Box Stitch Eye. The image above on the right is the Impossible Tetrahedron. I find this stitch fascinating to design with because although the stitch can be thought of as a row of cubes, it is flexible. So I can make things with box stitch that would be difficult to make in rigid media.

The Impossible Tetrahedron is an extension of the Impossible Triangle. The idea for the Box Stitch Eye came from joining two positive xyz-coordinate axes together. Tiny drop beads outline the outside edges to create the look of eyelashes for the eye.
